Due to the popularity of the stand at the show, we unfortunatley are unable to fully staff both HQ and the stand, therefore the office will be closed from Wednesday 1st August - Tuesday 7th August. The Horse Bit Shop offers horse bit hire on the 30 day bit trial scheme from our comprehensive bit bank which costs £5.00 - £6.50 per bit and if you are happy with the horse bit you have trialled you just pay the balance at the end of the 30 day bit trial period. If you are unhappy with the bit then it can be returned back to the bit bank with no further charge. The bit hire services give you a good opportunity try a bit from the bit bank to be sure that it is the right bit for your horse. And with the added help from our bitting specialists we can help you find the right bit from the thousands of options available, and help you to find the solution quick and easy.
The bit bank service is a very useful tool particularly if you are having bitting problems as it contains thousands of bits in all styles and mouthpieces, having so many bits allows us to offer quick delivery on all your standard bits and majority of specialist bespoke bits. Every bit that is returned to the bit bank is sterilized and disinfected before been sent out on trial, giving you the piece of mind to know that trialing a bit is safe and hygienic.
